Affiliation
TSA membership starts when your chapter is officially affiliated and ends at the conclusion of the 2025 National TSA Conference. To affiliate your chapter, go to TSAweb.org, click on Advisor Login, and follow these step-by-step instructions.
Affiliation types and costs
TSA offers three, curriculum-integrated membership programs. Choose the chapter affiliation program (CAP) that works best for your chapter:
Red CAP
White CAP
Blue CAP
- For up to 10 members.
- National fee: $120.
- State fee: $130.
- Additional members can be added during the year for a fee.
- For 11 or more members.
- National fee: $12 per member.
- State fee: $13 per member.
- For unlimited members.
- National fee: $400
- State fee: $390.
Membership rules
- All membership dues must be paid at the time of affiliation.
- Dues are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
- Members can only belong to one chapter at a time and must be registered through a state registered local education agency.
- Advisors must be state certified educators. It’s best if they teach science, technology, engineering, or math, but other certified educators can also serve as advisors.
